Getting into central London was easy, about 30 minutes on the bus, and there were restaurants nearby in every direction. We stayed a few nights in a small room that was clean and nicely equipped, with a kitchenette so we could skip eating out some evenings. The price was very reasonable for London. I’d gladly stay again.

The bed was comfortable and I slept really well. Shops, pubs, and restaurants are an easy walk away, and South Bermondsey station is very close. If you’re not expecting Claridges, it’s a good place with decent accommodation for an excellent price.

A 24-hour Costcutter is right nearby, and the room’s full kitchen was really useful. We slept well in the comfortable bed, and the room was clean and recently decorated. The bathroom felt a little cramped, but it was fine. Surrey Quays overground is just a few minutes away on foot, and the number 1 bus stops outside.

Once we found Surrey Quay station, about a 10-minute walk away, getting around was easy. I was with my little girl, and the room was clean and spacious. The welcome was lovely, and communication before arrival was great. There’s a shop on the same street with everything we needed. We’d been advised not to be out late around there, but with a tired 9-year-old after a day of activities and sightseeing, it wasn’t an issue for us. We’ll definitely book again.

The check-in was badly handled and the service didn’t help. After travelling all the way there, we found our room still wasn’t ready, and the receptionist offered neither an explanation nor a solution. The location is also quite far from central London. There’s a bus stop right outside that makes the trip easier, but it’s still a significant distance. I wouldn’t recommend staying here.
