London Visitors Hotel

Room 01 is a joke. It’s on the first floor right by the café’s public toilet, so the insanely loud hand dryer wakes you whenever someone uses it. The walls are paper thin, and you hear everyone outside your door. There’s no kettle or air conditioning either. Is this the absolute worst hotel? No. Was it worth staying here? Absolutely not.

The breakfast was fabulous, with a lovely mix of sweet and savoury, clearly top-quality ingredients, and delicious coffee. The espresso was perfection. It let us take our mornings slowly without the stress or expense of finding somewhere else to eat, and it was more affordable than most London places. Our spotless, spacious quadruple room was thoughtfully laid out and felt fresh and comfortable. Room service was available on request, which was a great touch. The lounge and waiting area were stunning, safe-feeling, and cozy. We loved spending time there doing a crossword and playing chess in the evening. The location was peaceful, tucked away, and convenient for the city centre, a few minutes by bus. We felt the area was safe compared with other parts of London. From the moment we arrived, the owner made us feel warmly welcome, and a little Valentine’s chocolate surprise made us smile. We’re so grateful for this beautiful boutique hotel and would return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

We stayed over Christmas and had a lovely, cozy, warm time. The staff were great, and so were the room and bed. Room service came every day. The centre isn’t very far, and the public transport was so good that getting around was no trouble. Cheers!

It’s a simple hotel, and the location is pretty good, with some Tube stations a short walk away. Our room was quite small, which is expected in London, but being beside a public toilet made it noisier than a normal hotel.
