I only stayed one night on my own, and the compact room worked really well: it was clean and had everything I needed. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were polite and happy to answer my questions. They also let me leave my bag after checkout at no extra cost while I explored. A lovely stay at hub, and I’d recommend it if you need a small, clean hotel.

The location in a multicultural part of London is a big plus, and the rooms are small but comfortable, just as advertised. It felt safe and clean, and the staff were very friendly. We did have a few annoyances: noise from the plumbing carried into our room, the air conditioning and lights reset when the door closed, and for two people we initially got just one towel, pillow and bottle of water. The front desk sorted that out when we asked. Also, the glass bathroom door offers almost no privacy, so you’d need to be very comfortable sharing a room. It costs a lot for what’s basically a private hostel room, though central London hotels can cost much more. We had a nice stay and would come back.

The room was comfortable and cleverly laid out, and the hotel is in a great spot for exploring with plenty close by. Staff were excellent, too, especially when they quickly brought us extra pillows. The bathroom door had a gap of about 1 cm, which made it feel like a design flaw. Even as a couple who’ve been together a long time, that was more closeness than we wanted. We pick hotels for the privacy of a bathroom, so it took a little away from our stay. Still, it was convenient and comfortable, and we’d stay again.

Breakfast was mostly sweet, and we missed the baked beans that other Hub hotels offer. It was a little cheaper than at those other locations, though. We had a very clean, comfortable room, and the team were welcoming and friendly. The Spitalfields location was ideal for us, fairly quiet, and well connected by public transport.

We had a heating problem, but they moved us to another room. The staff were helpful and really friendly, and the location is great. Breakfast was good, with croissants, fruit, porridge and yoghurt, though I would’ve liked some ham or sausages.
