I usually don't leave bad reviews on Google Maps, but our stay in London wembley under this host turned into an appalling and stressful situation. I booked this place because it looked good and was close to the theatre where I was taking my disabled daughter and her friend to see Andrew Lloyd Webber's “starlight express.” The show was amazing, by the way. See my other review. I'd paid in full before we went. On the day, they asked me to complete a pre-check-in form, then sent a link for my passport ID and bank details. It said they'd take £100 to confirm my identity and return it straight away. I hadn't been told about this before filling out the form, and there was no warning about the unexpected charge on my booking. When I called to ask, they said I couldn't get my check-in details without paying. I had two excited teenagers with moderate learning disabilities and autism with me, and the trip already involved food and travel costs. I'm not rich. In the end, I asked my daughter's friend's mum for help. She used money meant for her bills because I was told it would be returned. The money was taken, and after the show I had to chase for almost two weeks. Every time, there was another excuse. The place wasn't as described, and the business communicated poorly about the extra £100 charge. My friend finally got the money back into her bank yesterday, 30/5/35. We stayed and were charged on 17/05/25. I believe we might not have got it back if I hadn't kept chasing and taken further action. I'd avoid this business unless you're okay with unexpected money being taken and not knowing when you'll see it again. Sorry to be a negative Nancy, but this was absolutely not okay.

There wasn't a zero-star option, so I'm giving one. This was the worst experience ever, and booking this place was a huge mistake. Booking through Agoda was terrible too. It ruined our once-in-a-lifetime trip to London, and all the money we put into the trip felt wasted. I wish I'd checked Google reviews before booking instead of relying on Agoda. Trust me, the Agoda reviews seem paid, while the Google reviews show the reality. We were in ROOM NO. 6. Calling it luxury is a joke. The apartment door was open 24/7, so anyone could come in at any time, even at night, and there was nobody on site for emergencies. They didn't take our complaints seriously or help with anything. At midnight one night, the building fire alarm started buzzing. After several phone calls, nobody came to turn it off. It rang from around 12 am until 7 am, and we couldn't sleep. The floor tiles were broken, water leaked across the room walls, and the kitchen wall was damaged. Water dripped from the chimney above the gas stove into the container while we were cooking. In the bathroom, the toilet and seat were broken, and the mirror kept leaking. The shower only gave extremely hot water that could burn you, with no cold or mixed water. There was no exhaust fan, and the bathroom door wouldn't lock from inside. The heater never worked during our four nights and five days there, even though it was -2 degrees and cars outside were covered in snow. I complained on day one and day two, but nobody came. On day three, a woman came to look, but said she couldn't understand or help with the complaint because she didn't know English and was Portuguese. On day four, they messaged to say they thought the heater was working. I called and messaged several times, but nothing was done to get us a working heater. With no heat and only a thin blanket, we slept in jeans and jackets. My husband caught a cold and an extremely high fever. We cancelled all our plans, came back to our country, and he was hospitalized with viral and throat infections. Seven days later, he was still in bed with a fever. The Wi-Fi didn't work in our room for the first three days. They gave us some connection details that wouldn't connect, and after several complaints finally sent a valid password on day three. The bed was uncomfortable too, with a wooden ply board base and a thin, poor-quality mattress where you could feel the springs. They took the full booking amount in advance. Then, when you arrive at the room door, they send a form and only give you the unlocking code after you pay an extra £50. That charge wasn't mentioned anywhere before booking. Don't be fooled by the name “Luxury Apartment.” It isn't luxury at all. DO NOT BOOK.

Omg, it smelled foul, was filthy, poorly finished and felt unsecured. We were there just long enough to find somewhere else and book an Uber. We ended up getting a hotel in Ealing and paying twice for our stay. One star is far too generous.

The location was nice and worked well for London, and overall it was okay for us. The “luxury” label is debatable, though. There were broken tiles and it wasn't very clean, so by our standards it didn't feel luxurious.
