Victoria station made the location so convenient, and for a prime spot in London I thought the price, quality, service and size were a great combination. I stayed six nights and all my needs were exceeded. Mark and Simon were welcoming, helpful and happy to chat about my naive American questions. Breakfast was a delicious full English. The room was clean, though the beds were a bit hard, and the en-suite bathroom was old but worked fine. There’s also a small porch on the second or third floor with room for a few people to sit and share wine or afternoon tea.

The balcony outside was a nice place to sit, and the WiFi was reliable for uploading photos to my family. The owner and cleaning staff were all really nice and helpful. Our room and bathroom were small, as expected in London and Europe generally, but very clean. It’s in a lovely neighbourhood within walking distance of Victoria's station. We left too early for our tours to try breakfast, though I’m sure it would’ve been great. We had a really good time and would stay again in London.

I felt safe travelling on my own and was comfortable there. When snow delayed my coach to Paris about two years ago, I took a chance on this place after seeing it from outside and turned up at 10pm. I got a lovely, simple room at an affordable price for the location and the late arrival, help with my heavy case, a good night's sleep and a fantastic breakfast. Being vegetarian was no problem. The cat pictures on a dresser in the dining room made it feel like home. The two brothers running the guest house at the time were so friendly, and it was wonderfully unpretentious. I hope they’re still there and happy. I can’t fault the place. My only regret is leaving this review so late. I wish them the very best of luck.

Simon and Marc made us feel welcome, and took turns preparing breakfast, which was perfect every day. Our room was spotless and quiet, and the small bathroom worked well with plenty of hot water. It was an ideally located, true London B&B experience. We hope we get to visit London again before their lease is up, and they’d be our first choice for somewhere to stay.

The location is fab, with lots of shops within walking distance on Kings road and some nice bars, cafes and pubs nearby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. My room was clean, nice and warm, and breakfast was very nice. The shower room was very small, but there are other shared shower rooms if you find it too cramped. Would I stay again? Yes, though I don’t think it would suit my friend completely.
