Malmaison London

We’ll definitely be back. The hotel and room were lovely, and the location was very convenient, with the Elisabeth line tube station nearby and lots of eateries, bakeries, and coffee shops to choose from. My wife became very ill on the morning we were due to check out after our overnight stay at the Malmaison in London last Sunday. Blessing and the rest of the staff were wonderful. Blessing understood and kindly let us extend checkout. My wife recovered enough for us to leave later that day, and we’re very grateful for the support and generosity.

The service was pleasant, the room was clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi worked well. I appreciated the complimentary water, and the hotel itself was quiet. The restaurant was okay, with plenty of other places to eat nearby. It’s reasonably located for getting around, with tube stations close by. I stayed four nights and was woken at 0500 every day by someone handling the rubbish bins and by housekeeping getting ready. The HVAC was very loud too, and the small radiator didn’t quite keep the room warm on cold winter nights. That’s why I’ve taken off a star.

Getting around the city was easy from this location. My room was tidy, comfortable, and clean, and the staff were polite and happy to help. I had a very pleasant stay.

The squeaky door across from room 316 kept us awake all night, and the hairdryer cut out while I was using it. The bedroom also had only one bedside table. Reception didn’t offer any money off, and the stay was very poor overall. It wasn’t worth paying extra for this, we should have gone to the Travel Lodge. Avoid.
