Manson Place South Kensington Apartment

David was lovely and super helpful when we checked in, but maintenance wasn't up to scratch. The heating in the apartment bathrooms wasn't working!

The apartment's best feature is its location, and Mr David at reception was wonderful. He was friendly, helpful and very professional, and made our stay much more enjoyable. Thank you, David! You can walk to just about anywhere, including Hyde park, natural history, Victoria and Albert, Science musesms, Harrods and Sloan square. There are also two metro stations, food markers, shops, cafes and resturaunts within walking distance. The queen bed was comfortable, the kitchen was nice, and there's a compact washer and dryer.

We stayed in the deluxe two-bedroom apartment. The location is excellent, the staff are friendly and reception is open 24 hours. The building seems old but is well maintained. Prices are high, though I guess that's justified by the services and location. Each apartment has a slightly different layout and size. Apt 5 is better than 6 on the ground floor. The first floor is better than the ground floor because it has a balcony and a bigger kitchen, but Apt 7 has a step up to the bedroom that may be difficult for people with accessibility challenges. Both bathrooms have tubs, with no walk-in shower.

With two older kids, we need more room than a hotel gives us, and these apartments worked really well. The location was great, the service was great too, and I'd definitely recommend staying here and come back.
