A great base for sightseeing with children. Waterloo Station is very close, making it easy to get around London and reach the main attractions. We had a wonderful family long weekend. The room was spacious and worked well for us, with two large, comfortable double beds, one for us and one for the children. There was also a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, cooking facilities, and a coffee machine with coffee and tea provided. We didn't cook, but it was handy to have the option of making breakfast or other meals. Everything felt welcoming, spotless and well cared for. The shower was excellent and powerful, and there were plenty of big, lovely white towels for the whole family. A special thank you to the very friendly, helpful staff, especially the lovely young Ukrainian lady and the young French gentleman. We highly recommend it for families visiting London: comfortable, clean, spacious and in a fantastic location.

The room was bright and spacious, and the location is excellent, close to a major train station, bus stop, café and supermarket. Housekeeping was disappointing during my three-day stay. I know cleaning is only done on request, but I specifically asked at the front desk and nobody cleaned the room. When I came back at the end of the day, nothing had been done. Reception confirmed the request was recorded, which points to poor communication between departments and a failure to follow through. Even asking for JUST fresh towels, rather than a full clean, meant waiting almost 20+ minutes for them to reach my room. It may sound minor, but it added to the impression of slow responses and little attention to guest requests. The room and location are positives, but housekeeping and coordination need significant improvement.

The room was comfortable, spacious and clean, on a safe street. It had a stove, fridge and plenty of closet space, and the shower was wonderful. Nearby there are trains, buses, loads of restaurants, souvenir shops and street food. Most things you'd want to see are about a 30-minute walk away, so the location worked perfectly for visiting London. The check-in clerk even helped carry our suitcases to the room. I can't say enough good things about this place. Highly recommended. Well done, Marlin, and thanks for having us!

At Marlin Waterloo, the ambience, food and hospitality made for a wonderful experience. Vibha deserves a special mention for her warm manner and outstanding service. She was attentive and courteous, took care of every detail, and brought a personal touch that made the visit memorable. Highly recommend the place, and kudos to Vibha for making it so delightful.

The room was big enough, and we could walk to all the places we wanted to see. Everyone was helpful and friendly, and I'd come back. One thing we hadn't realised: if you're from America and want a king-size bed, you need to choose the USA king size. Thankfully, our receptionist explained it and we upgraded. There's a laundry area if you need to wash clothes, and you only pay for drying. Very handy when travelling with kids.
