The proprietors were really accommodating and let us check out very late on our last day, thank you. The room was much bigger than two people need and had an extra bed, so it could technically sleep three. This B+B was just what I expected, in a quiet, typical English neighbourhood. The metro station is under ten minutes away on foot, with bus routes and coffee shops close by. There's a supermarket on the way to the station, and another shopping centre with coffee shops right by the station too. Tip: the window shutters are hinged and swing away, so you can open the window for fresh air. At first they look fixed in place.

The owner was kind and helpful, and I had a really good stay last March. My ground-floor single ensuite was pleasant and very clean, with everything I needed for a comfortable night's sleep. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in London. Thank you!

Marple Cottage is clean, well run, and Nick and Bridgette (Mum) were great hosts. I first found it while searching for somewhere in Wimbledon after five days at an accommodation chain. I called Nick because I needed to move the next day, and he kindly let me check in much earlier than the advertised time. Later, after a trip to Birmingham, I had a paid booking in Fulham Broadway, but the place was dirty and poorly maintained. I called Nick again, and he found me a room and helped me move in early the following day. Thanks to Nick and Bridgette for their hospitality and for going above and beyond. I'll book again on my next London visit, hopefully with more notice this time. Highly recommended. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5

Nick, the owner, kindly brought my coat back to me when I couldn't come and collect it. I've stayed here a couple of times and will keep coming back when I'm in the area. It's always clean and tidy, and a lovely place. Nick's a true gentleman. Thanks, I'll be back at some point.

I've stayed here many times over the years, and the owners are lovely. The rooms are clean, the bed is comfy, and breakfast is good and healthy. It's a first-class, welcoming place, and it's also great for the tennis. What's not to like?
