Mentone Hotel

The staff were helpful and polite, and even prepared takeaway food one morning when we needed to leave before breakfast started. There was a wide selection at breakfast on the other days. Our four-person room was small but manageable, very clean, and cleaned daily. There’s plenty to do nearby, with good restaurants, pubs, and shops, and the district seemed safe to us. The location is excellent, close to the train station. I think it’s a very good hotel for a London stay, and I highly recommend it.

The Mentone Hotel is very close to St. Pancras station, in a pleasant, lively neighborhood. The interior seemed well cared for. My room was a little small and had no view, but it was cosy, clean, and had everything I needed. Breakfast service was good too, and I especially liked the warmed tomatoes. I had a pleasant stay.

We’ve stayed at the Mentone Hotel twice now and love it. The location is excellent, about a 10 minute walk from Euston / Kings Cross, right by lots of bars and places to eat. The Brunswick Centre is also a short walk away, and it’s easy to catch a bus or the underground from Euston to get around the city. The rooms are spacious, finished to a high standard, and just right for a few days in London. Staff are extremely kind and professional, and the owner Simon is lovely. Breakfast is fabulous, so book direct if you want it included in the price. Thanks for making my husband’s birthday special. We really appreciate all the thoughtfulness, enjoyed our stay, and will be back in June. 😁

Our room wasn’t very big, but it was clean and generally quiet. The staff were friendly and even gave us a takeaway breakfast because we had to leave before the usual breakfast time. A very pleasant stay, I recommend it.
