Millennium Hotel and Conference Centre Gloucester London

The room had a proper security chain on the door, which gave me extra peace of mind. I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels in different countries and haven’t seen that before. For anyone safety-conscious or wanting an extra layer of security, it really stood out and made the stay feel more secure. Our room on the sixth floor was nicely decorated, with a large London Bridge wall feature and a big TV. The walls and ceiling looked fresh and clean, but there was a noticeable old, slightly musty smell. I got used to it after a while, though it wasn’t a great first impression. Later that evening, we noticed a few moths, which made us wonder whether the smell could be related to moisture. It didn’t ruin our stay, but did leave us thinking ventilation or humidity might need attention. The fridge was empty, though there was complimentary water on the cabinet, which we appreciated. The entrance and lobby are elegant and impressive, and the staff were friendly and helpful. They also kindly stored our luggage when we arrived early. It’s a good hotel with a beautiful entrance, but a few details could be improved.

Daniel Todorov from the concierge team has stood out on nearly every trip. He’s helpful, friendly, and thoughtful, checks whether we need anything, and shares good local tips. That kind of attention is one reason we keep coming back. This is our fifth or sixth stay at the Millennium Hotel on Gloucester Road, and since joining the club a year ago, every visit has been consistently excellent. The staff are warm, helpful, and genuinely engaging with me, my wife, and our little boys. They make an effort to chat with the boys and show interest in what they’ve been up to, which means a lot to us. The location is spot on, with Gloucester Road station right there, and a Burger King across the road for a quick bite. Rooms are clean and well presented, with comfortable, spacious beds, good lighting and charging options, bathrooms that are perfectly fine, and reliable Wi-Fi. We’ll definitely keep returning.

I was able to check out later, which made leaving much more relaxed, and I was pleasantly surprised by an upgrade to a beautiful room. It was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff were lovely and incredibly helpful from the moment I arrived. I had a fantastic stay at the Millennium Gloucester and will definitely go back. Highly recommended for a London visit.

The room upgrade for our anniversary was such a thoughtful gesture, and it made the occasion feel special. The rooms were beautifully designed, spotless, and finished to a very high standard. The team were warm, friendly, and welcoming throughout. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and they went the extra mile whenever they could. We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend the hotel. Can’t wait to return.
