Modern Studios and Ensuite rooms with Shared Kitchen at Chapter Islington Student Accommodation

The leak in my kitchen has been going on for over two months. Water drips across the cooking area and cupboards, and it’s damaged the wall so badly that pieces of porcelain came off. That’s unsafe and unacceptable. I reported it three times in the first month and nobody followed up or repaired it. In the second month, someone came to fix only the wall, leaving the leaking pipe as it was. The problem was never actually resolved. Now the leak has started again, worse than before, and water is reaching the floor. This shows a serious failure in maintenance and communication. For accommodation at this price, I expected basic safety, hygiene, and repairs done on time, and none of that has been met. I’m very disappointed with Chapter Islington, and I’m attaching photos and videos of the ongoing issue.

I’ve lived here for four years and it’s been great. The rooms I’ve had were all pretty good. There are occasional Wi-Fi outages and what I think are normal maintenance issues, but Costin has always been helpful in getting them fixed quickly. The rest of the team is nice and helpful too.

The front desk folks are awesome. My shower drain gave me trouble and I had to move rooms, which was unfortunate. The shower in the new room also drained very slowly. Apart from that, I enjoyed my stay. It’s a good location and easy to get around.

The accommodation is amazing, and the staff are even better. As an international student, London has never felt more like home. There’s a great balance between social life and being able to disconnect from academics. Highly recommend.
