Morton Hotel

The only slight drawback was some street noise. We had the windows open, and with them shut it would probably be fine for most people. Everything else about our seven-night stay was great. The hotel is central, about a minute on foot from an Underground station, Pret A Manger, Tesco, and a lovely park for sitting and relaxing. Our room was clean and roomy enough for two, with a large, comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Housekeeping came daily and topped up the tea and coffee, along with two sets of delicious cookies. The staff were so kind that they even left wine and chocolates for my partner's birthday. Anas deserves a special mention for offering to come up and help us with the TV. We had a superb time and would definitely come back.

The reception and bar team made this stay for me. Iryna and Aytul were warm and attentive, asked what brought me to the area, and shared useful local tips. It made a real difference to how welcome I felt. My room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully presented, and the hotel was quiet while I was there. The bar had a great atmosphere and was a lovely spot to unwind. The hotel is also handy for Euston Station. I wanted to call out such a positive experience, and I'll certainly book again.

The breakfast room and bar were lovely, and the menu offered tasty, hearty food. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. We had a comfortable stay in the Bloomsbury Room, with enough closet space for us. It faced the street, but the windows blocked nearly all the noise. I especially liked the heated bathroom floor. We'd happily stay at the Morton again.

In nearly 30 years of regular trips to London, I've always picked somewhere new. The Morton Hotel might change that. Its staff were wonderfully friendly and helpful, and went way out of their way to arrange a birthday surprise for my partner. They were just lovely to deal with. Our room was clean and well looked after, the bathroom was particularly spacious and immaculate, and the central location made it good value. Those things alone would make me recommend it, but the kindness and care from the team made the stay even better. Thank you!
