We’ve been here twice for week-long London trips, in MSK superior rooms 15 and 21. Both stays were comfortable: clean, usable rooms, a comfy bed, and everything we needed. The kitchenette was oddly stocked with two of everything, but it worked, and the tiny bathroom was functional. We stayed in autumn and winter and weren’t cold, and noise wasn’t a problem. The reception staff were friendly and helped with a troublesome toaster and window. They also looked after our bags when we arrived early. The furniture is a bit dated and worn, though not dirty. The lower-floor room had a slightly better view. The area felt safe and quiet, with lots of shops and restaurants and two Underground stations about three minutes away. We’d stay again.

The room was clean and as shown, with a fully equipped kitchen and fridge, and the location and price were good. But the walls are so thin that you hear everything from the halls and outside. The mattress wasn’t very comfortable, the shower drained extremely slowly, and the doors didn’t shut all the way, leaving a small gap. You get what you pay for.

Management’s handling of a reservation issue was dishonest. The front desk gave clear verbal assurances, then later denied them and kept passing responsibility to someone else instead of dealing with it directly. The room itself had poor cleanliness, visible mold in the bathroom, and no proper ventilation. Soundproofing was practically nonexistent, so the neighbors sounded like they were in our room. I find both the standards and the lack of integrity unacceptable. I strongly advise against staying here.

The room was cramped, especially the bathroom: sitting on the toilet meant your head was right up against the door. It smelled of mold, which was everywhere. For the price and a so-called 4-star residence, that was awful. We won’t recommend it. We’d asked through BOOKING in advance if we could leave our bags at reception when we arrived in the morning, before check-in, and were told yes. At the desk, they said it would cost £10 per suitcase for a couple of hours. We hadn’t been told about that charge, so we decided to wait until we could check in.
