MSK The Whiteley

The location is good, and at first the room looked tidy, new, and clean, though it was extremely small. Reception staff were nice and helpful. We were told cleaning would happen every three nights during our nine-night stay. Nothing was done on night four, not even the rubbish. I requested cleaning through booking.com and was promised it, but it was still missed on night five. We asked again at reception and through booking.com. When we returned on night six, the rubbish had been taken and the room cleaned, but the sheets hadn’t been changed, and neither the bed nor the bathroom or kitchen area had been properly done. By night eight the sheets still hadn’t been changed. I was very disappointed with the cleaning. Also, the fridge switches off when you leave because all the room’s electricity is linked to the key card slot, so you can’t leave food in it.

The staff were really nice, and the location was good too.

We had everything we needed for a short trip, and the staff were fantastic and accommodating. Our three-person room was right off reception on the ground floor, facing the garden, which was beautiful in midsummer. It was perfectly placed for Hyde Park and the Circle line.

Be careful with building 32. There’s no air conditioning there, even when it’s 30 degrees outside. They said they only provide fans and don’t advertise air conditioning in that building. I cancelled at reception and lost 400 euros for three nights.
