Novotel London Canary Wharf Hotel

The staff made check-in and checkout easy, and housekeeping kept my room to a very high standard. Breakfast staff were welcoming and efficient, and everyone I encountered was professional, friendly, and genuinely caring. I had a stunning water view from my room, which made things feel peaceful, especially waking up to the scenery each morning. The pool was spotless and refreshing, and the warm sauna was a lovely way to unwind after a busy day. The bar had a stylish setting, excellent drinks, and attentive service. The hotel was elegant, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. I had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back to relax again.

Alina, the Breakfast manager, went beyond what we expected, and she and her assistant Barbara make a wonderful team. They're a real credit to the hotel. Everyone was welcoming when we arrived, and all the staff were great. We had a lovely room overlooking the city of London. We'll definitely return.

We stayed at Novotel for four nights, and the room was clean and just the right size for one or two people. Breakfast was served on level 37 with a nice city view. Canary Wharf is amazing, with several train stations nearby, including the Elizabeth line, Jubilee line, and South Quay. It's convenient for getting around, and worth staying here if you're spending your time around Canary Wharf.

The pool and sauna were the best part of the stay, but there wasn't a proper place to change. I was told there were changing rooms, but all I found was an accessible toilet and an open area in front of the main door. I'd suggest changing in your room. There were towels by the pool, but no robes, despite them being advertised. We paid extra for a river view, but the website pictures weren't accurate. The view was mostly construction, with the river in the background. We didn't try the rooftop bar, though it looked nice. Drinks were pricey, so we went elsewhere. There are lots of nearby places, and the location is great. The hotel itself felt pretty standard, no different from ibis really, and I expected better for the price. The room was clean enough. I had asked for balloons in the room for my partner, and the hotel confirmed, but it wasn't done. When I called reception, they didn't know what happened, and there was no apology or solution, which was upsetting. All in all, it was an okay stay.
