Oxbridge Apartments

The free internet barely works, and the washing machine seems not to have been cleaned in a long time. There is almost no soundproofing either, so you can hear nearly everything in the neighbouring apartment, including noise after midnight when you need to get up early. The bed is painfully uncomfortable. It feels like there's no padding on top, and I could feel hard, button-like bits at regular intervals. The bathroom has smelled strange since we arrived, the room hasn't been vacuumed, and honestly I don't think it was cleaned at all. As for the service, this being called a 4-star serviced apartment is a joke. At most, someone might come once to make the bed and another day to bring more towels. I don't recommend staying here. It isn't worth it.

We found the staff helpful and very accommodating. The room was spacious for the competitive price, with various amenities nearby, and the Underground station is under 10 minutes away. Great hotel!

I booked a year ahead, but the reservation was cancelled three days before arrival, after I contacted the hotel to confirm it myself. If I hadn't got in touch first, I doubt they would've told me at all. Not serious whatsoever.

The apartment had the basics we needed: heat, clean sheets, fluffy towels, washing-up liquid, a clean sponge and tea towel, a TV, somewhere to sit and relax, and a powerful shower. The location was great, near the Tube. It was a bit tired, though, and the bed creaked. The single bed wasn't great and could have done with a mattress topper. We had a lovely welcome from Osram? We left our luggage before check-in so we could go sightseeing, and when we came back our cases were already in the two-bedroom apartment. Thank you for a lovely stay.
