Parsons Green Modern One Bedroom Flat

A compact, cosy station with its own character and some unusual design details, including a clock on the Westbound platform. It can get very crowded during rush hour.

For the public areas, at least, this “underground” station seems entirely above ground. And no, that doesn’t make it Parson Brown from “Winter Wonderland”.

This Tube station could use some improvements.

The platform is broad and has nice seats, which is a welcome reward after climbing two levels of steep stairs. The station itself has a charming, almost village-like feel and an old clock. Its entrance and exit are very narrow, though, and I can’t say what it’s like when it gets busy. A couple of framed vintage London transport posters might suit the place.
