I appreciated the shared lounge, and the bathroom was spotless and newly renovated. My room was spacious and clean. I was travelling on my own over Christmas, and the price seemed very reasonable for that time of year. Breakfast was typical British fare, good but not outstanding. Service, though, was excellent throughout, with staff being friendly and helpful. A pleasant stay and good value.

Leaving my bags after checkout so I could take a walk before catching my airport train was a really kind touch. The Phoenix Hotel in London gave me a very enjoyable stay that exceeded expectations. Check-in was quick, breakfast was very good, and the room was spotless thanks to reliable housekeeping. Staff were friendly and helpful, and when I realized I'd forgotten a plug adapter, they assisted straight away. I'd definitely stay again.

This was our second stay at the Phoenix hotel, and it's now our go-to in London. The location is great, quiet but close to everything, and the staff are friendly. They even helped us out at the last minute. We got an executive double for £150 per night with breakfast included. It had a 150cm bed, small bathroom, desk, closet and flat screen TV, and was amazing value. I wouldn't personally recommend adding breakfast, though. It's a cheap bite if you'd rather save room in your budget for another meal or activity that day.

The Phoenix Hotel in Kensington was a lovely place to stay. It's well placed for public transport, shops and attractions like Kensington Palace and Hyde Park. There are also some great pubs and restaurants nearby, and Marks & Spencer is just a short walk away. The rooms were comfortable, clean and well-equipped. Staff were welcoming and helpful, and check-in and checkout went smoothly. I'd recommend it for short or long stays, whether you're a couple, a family or travelling solo. Booking ahead may get you a better price. We'll be back.

The area has plenty of restaurants and coffee shops, and it felt very safe walking around. Inside, the hotel was quiet and the rooms were very warm even though it was freezing outdoors. Breakfast was very good. We definitely plan to visit again.
