Plaza Hotel Hammersmith

We had reserved a room for four people on April 28th, well ahead of our arrival, but were given one that only accommodated three. The hotel couldn't provide the booking as confirmed, which caused us serious inconvenience. That's unacceptable and unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you need reliable service.

The station, bars and restaurants were close by, and the price seemed fair. The bed was comfortable, and we got some good rest around our event. The room was small, with a fan, TV and mini fridge that wasn't cold. Hot water in the shower was lovely, though the shower head needs replacing. What really let the stay down was waking up with bed bug bites all over my legs and chest. That needs urgent attention. The cleanliness and bed bug issue must be dealt with.

The staff were nice and the location was good, but the room and shower were dirty and hadn't been properly cleaned. The bed felt damp, and it was so cold we had to sleep in our jackets. You get what you pay for.

I was pleasantly surprised by my one-night stay at the Plaza. The receptionists at check-in and check-out were both genuinely lovely. There was some wear and tear, as you'd expect from a two-star hotel, but less than I thought there'd be. The linen was in great shape too. I'd happily come back if work takes me to the area again.
