The staff were lovely and attentive, and the service was great for the price and location. Dayna especially went above and beyond for my mom, who uses a wheelchair. We appreciated the extra space for her chair, and it looked like there were quite a few accessible rooms in the building, which isn’t something we’ve found everywhere. There are lots of buses, trains, shops and places to eat within walking distance. From Heathrow, we only needed the Elizabeth line, which left us about ten minutes from the hotel. If you’re vegan or open to vegan food, Mukbap is just three minutes away. It’s a Korean vegan place, and you have to try the fried seaweed rolls. The neighborhood sidewalks aren’t great, and sometimes you have to cross where there’s no slope down to the road. There’s also construction down the street at the moment, which makes getting around in a wheelchair difficult. We avoided it, but going around added time to our trips. That’s not the hotel’s fault, just a heads up for others with mobility issues. There’s a useful touchscreen vending machine in the lobby with things like plug adapters, power banks, earbuds, lip balm, wipes and other hygiene or beauty products. It came in handy when my mom realized she’d left her toothbrush at home. The bathroom had a strange musty smell by the sink, and breakfast could use more vegan choices. Even peanut butter, nuts, soy yogurt or oat milk alongside the corn flakes and muesli would help. They did have blueberry filled croissants, which was nice, but apart from those and fruit there wasn’t much savory food for me. On my second morning, the kitchen employee with short dark hair kindly got me vegan croissants when they seemed to have run out.

We were disappointed with the service, so we’re giving the hotel two stars. Three different times, we asked to have our room cleaned and the bed made while we were out, and each time we were told it would be done. We came back in the evening and nothing had been taken care of. We also had to go and get fresh towels ourselves because none were brought to the room. The staff were polite, but the service they promised never happened, and it wasn’t what we expected from a hotel.

For a budget boutique hotel, it really impressed us. Breakfast had a decent range of continental options, and the modern room came with a spotless bathroom. Good value, and we’d be happy to stay again.

The bathrooms are quite small, even for me, and I’m a not-very-tall woman at 5’5”. Still, this is affordable for central London, especially if you join through their website. I find it reliably good for a one-night work stay. The staff are nice, check-in is easy, and the rooms are clean. The TV works reliably, and the rainbow mood light is a fun touch. You can get back in at any time of night by scanning your room card at the front door, and they sell water and snacks.

Both times I’ve stayed here, it’s been a great experience. The hotel is cheerful and nicely decorated, and the staff are lovely and very helpful. Our rooms were tidy and clean, with comfortable beds and modern, clean bathrooms. We also enjoyed the breakfast. I’d highly recommend it and would stay here again.
