A surprisingly good stay. They’d thought of everything, so once I arrived I didn’t need to head back out. The room was well appointed, the bed comfortable, and the bathroom nice. Security was great too. I got a meal deal with a two-course dinner, a drink, and unlimited breakfast. I took a Hoppa bus from Terminal 2 to the hotel, and they come frequently. If you’re flying into or out of Heathrow and need a place for the night, I’d recommend it. The only tricky part was trying to discuss my booking from overseas beforehand, since there’s no one to speak to by phone. I’d like the website to include shuttle information so people know how to get there without an expensive taxi.

After my 12-hour flight, I was in a hot shower within five minutes of arriving, thanks to the quick, efficient receptionist. The room had everything I needed as a tired 77-year-old. Ten minutes later I was tucked into crisp, clean sheets that felt like a warm hug. That’d make a great TV ad! I woke up rested and relaxed, ready for the next part of my journey. The receptionist gave me three transport options for getting back to the airport.

We had to leave at 5 a.m., even though breakfast wasn’t meant to start until 6. When I mentioned it, Deeptti said, “No problem,” and went out of her way to make sure we didn’t leave hungry. She brought us to the breakfast area herself and prepared breakfasts to take with us. She was kind, patient, and so accommodating it felt like having family working there. Her service was far beyond what I expected, and it’s clear she really cares about guests. She’s one of the best employees I’ve ever seen, and she made our stay much better. Premier Inn is lucky to have her.

I stay here regularly, and it’s the best of the nearby branches. The staff are superb, as they are at all Premier Inns. It’s at the end of a runway, but it’s so quiet inside you’d never know. Even Bath Road out front is quiet. The car park is expensive, though if you book the day before, rooms are often under £65, which helps make up for it. The place is huge, so bring everything in from the car in one go.

The room was nice and the staff were there for check-in. We didn’t hear any planes, and there’s a local bus to T2/3. The problem was the floor above us. We got there around midnight and were up at 6am, but people upstairs kept walking, stomping, and banging every ten minutes. I don’t know what they were doing, but I got an hour of sleep at best before a 17-hour journey. It’s not really the hotel’s fault, except maybe for the floor.
