Premier Inn London Blackfriars

I've stayed in quite a few London hotels over the years, and this one has given me a reason to pick it again over other good options. Yusuf was collecting my breakfast dishes and utensils, and his hospitality really stood out. He was charming, efficient, knew his stuff, and made a perfect host. Premier Inn, he should be given something like Maitre d' status. The other staff were good too, but Yusuf was head and shoulders above the rest. I'll be back often, and may well eat here instead of at one of the very good local restaurants, just to enjoy his hospitality again. Comfort, value and food can all influence my choice, but this time it was that one encounter that settled it.

The electronic screen check-in wasn't for me, and we needed help to get through it. I understand automation is part of life now, though it can come at the expense of personal customer care. Even so, the stay itself was comfortable and relaxing. The hotel was very nice and well appointed, and met the usual Premier Inn standards.

From the moment we walked into Fleet Street Premieree Inn, the staff were brilliant. I was there with my son, who uses a wheelchair, and my young daughter. Everyone was kind, pleasant and helpful, dealt with our questions and made us feel well looked after. We had a lot of contact with Hazel, Yusuf and Daniela in particular, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. I'd definitely return to this branch.

Our stay was really comfortable, and the staff were helpful and polite. The room was clean and had everything we needed. We upgraded to a premium room, which came with a mini fridge and water, Nespresso coffee, and shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom. The windows couldn't be opened, so it felt a little stuffy, but the air conditioning helped. Great location too. You can't go wrong with a Premier Inn.
