Premier Inn London City - Tower Hill

We booked interconnected family rooms six months ahead after Premier Inn told us this hotel could provide them. When we arrived, we found out they had no interconnected rooms available. It took a lengthy 30 minute investigation of our complaint before they simply apologised and said they’d pass it to the relevant people. The service was absolutely shocking. I’ll never stay at a Premier Inn again.

The staff were genuinely friendly, check-in was quick, and breakfast had a good range of options. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the place was well maintained. Great stay, I’d definitely come back.

The rooms felt cramped, the bathroom water pressure was the worst part, and the bar had very few drink options. There was also a loud creak in the floor just before the bathroom, and I imagine it bothered the people below us too. They should fix it. I hope you don’t get room 318. The location and service were great, and breakfast was good. You’ll find quality here, but I wish we’d chosen a higher-rated hotel.

Good value for the price, with pleasant staff and a handy location. I gave the room three stars because the comforters were stained, and there didn’t seem to be sheets. There also weren’t any washcloths in the bathroom.
