We were in South Croydon for a couple of nights for a family funeral, and the staff were caring, polite and so helpful. When we were leaving, the receptionist let us know the place next door was closed because of a burst pipe. We'd planned to get a full breakfast for the long drive back to Nottingham, and asked if we could use the breakfast deal there since we hadn't ordered. They sorted us out without any fuss. The breakfast roll, or cob as we call it in Nottingham, was delicious with a great coffee and a very reasonable price. Thank you, Premier Inn South Croydon.

We had a lovely stay with our two baby girls, and there was everything we needed for them. All four staff members we met were cheerful and welcoming. When we accidentally left our baby's Jellycat bunny behind, Ram called straight away so we could come back for it. He was warm, friendly and really helpful.

Croydon centre is about a 25-minute walk, or you can catch a tram from the road outside. The rooms are quiet and comfortable, and the leafy surroundings are lovely for peaceful walks. A very comfortable place to stay.

We stayed four nights while work was being finished at home, and the staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. There isn't a full kitchen service, but the breakfast rolls and fruit were just what we needed. Highly recommended.

We enjoyed our Christmas break while visiting family, and our ground-floor room was spotless and comfortable. Still, the price bothered me: £448 for four nights, with one night costing £160, feels a lot for an older Inn with limited facilities. The location is beautiful, though a bit remote if, like us, you want to leave the car and use public transport. Lloyd tram stop is about a 10-minute walk, alongside a very busy road. We prefer staying here to central Croydon. We've met plenty of people who left the town centre and wouldn't go back, and we're the same. Thankfully the franchised Spoons eventually opened, since this Inn has no bar and not much food available.
