Premier Inn London Croydon Town Centre

The room was spotless, the hotel felt calm, and everything ran smoothly, but what really impressed me was Stefan Guida. From answering questions to sorting requests, he made sure I felt looked after throughout. He went well beyond the basics, and you can see the pride he takes in his work. I pay close attention to customer service, and his effort, attitude, and consistency stood out. Everything about my stay at Premier Inn Croydon was great, from walking in to checking out. I’ll be back, and I hope Premier Inn recognises what a gem Stefan is.

The bed was comfortable and the room itself was pretty good, but we had to share one set of towels between two people. We didn't notice until it was too late to sort out. Why provide just one set for a two-person room? We arrived quite late and had to figure out how to check in without reception. Then getting to the room took ages because the hotel was busy and only one lift was working.

Fahad at reception was especially helpful, friendly, and professional. Although housekeeping wasn’t automatic, he made sure we had what we needed and gave excellent service. The rooms were mostly clean and well maintained, but you have to ask reception if you want the room cleaned each day. Our stay at the Premier Inn Croydon was pleasant overall, with a small area to improve and outstanding service from Fahad.

The refurbished room looked lovely, until staff left the shower running. I came back from a day out in London on the final night to find steam throughout the room. Cleaning staff had entered even though I’d told them in person that I didn’t need anything, and there was a do not disturb sign on the door. Nothing had been cleaned, but the shower had been turned on and left running. The walls, ceiling, headboard, television, and every other hard surface were soaked, and the room was boiling. The rest of my stay had been fine, but this was absurd and extremely poor. I won’t use Premier Inn again.
