The bar floor girl working that evening was really helpful with directions and the best way to travel. Breakfast staff were very good the next morning, and the cooked breakfast was great. We stayed one night for a gig at the emirates. The location was great. Check-in staff were average, and our family room booking for three came with only two towels, but staff brought us another when we asked.

The food and the people around it made this stay feel especially welcoming. Chef Alex’s classic burger with fries and coleslaw tasted like home cooking, and it was one of THE best burgers ever. The fries were crisp and delicious. Wasane, the dining room hostess, was so kind and warm, and morning crew Christina and Angela were friendly and covered for each other when things got busy. Angela cooked the eggs perfectly. Marianne, the maid, was friendly and answered all my questions about room and bathroom replenishment. It felt like a team that liked its guests and made you feel you belonged from the start. I had room 508, a Premier Plus room overlooking the street, during a heatwave. Neta gave me such a friendly welcome at reception, explained what I needed to know, and I enjoyed chatting with her throughout my solo stay. The air conditioning worked perfectly. The double-glazed windows kept street noise out, and the mattress and pillow choices were comfortable. I slept well and liked the view over green Trees with London city behind them. The desk and free wifi were both fine for working. The bathroom was nicely laid out, with a bath and water pressure and temperature that were easy to control. The unlimited breakfast was great value. Around the corner from the Hackney London hotel, Curve outdoor garden and outdoor bar has picnic tables in a lovely big garden. You can get a beer or cocktail and bring your own food, with lots of good local takeaways within a five minute walk. It’s a cool vibe and a hidden gem, as is the hotel.

Christina was lovely and really helpful when she checked me in, and MD was patient and friendly when I checked out. The hotel is conveniently close to the stations. I was impressed by how clean the room was, and it came with a hairdryer, TV and towels. Thank you ❤️

The location was excellent. I managed an impromptu theatre visit between shopping, and got a lot done without public transport. When I did use it, the stop opposite the hotel was convenient and had great links across London and beyond. Christina was a ray of sunshine each day, going out of her way to greet and help guests. The whole team, from management to the breakfast greeter, made service feel like a 10/10. Nothing I asked for seemed too much, whether it was an ironing board, eggs cooked well, luggage stored away, or a late check-out, and it all came with a smile. Breakfast was delicious and fresh, thanks to chef Angela and the lovely male colleague whose name I unfortunately didn’t get. I’d been reluctant to eat dinner because of past hotel meal experiences and all the nearby food options, but the seabass and spring rolls surpassed my expectations. I visited during the heatwave, so the clean, good-sized room’s A/C mattered a lot. It worked perfectly.

We booked a long weekend for a concert and some London sightseeing. The room was what I expected from Premier Inn, but the friendly service really stood out. Angela at breakfast catered to our preferences, and Christina was very helpful with anything we needed for the room. I’d recommend it for the staff alone.
