Premier Inn London Holborn Hotel

Holborn is a great base for exploring London. The hotel is on a quieter street, a short walk from Holborn Tube, and you can easily walk to the British Museum, Covent Garden, and the West End theatres. My family and I enjoy staying at Premier Inn hotels because they consistently give us a good experience, and this one was no exception. The beds were comfortable, breakfast was good, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful.

Danielle was thoughtful and kind. When we couldn't work out the hair dryer, she came up to the 3rd floor herself to show us how to use it. The UK switches are different from those in the U.S., with several mains switches that need to be on for things to work. Her customer service stood out, especially after we'd stayed at a $400-a-night hotel earlier on the trip. The hotel was relatively quiet, safe, and friendly. Just know what you're paying for: rooms don't have a fridge, telephone, or safe unless you pay for premium. Don't expect more than what's included, and it's great value for the price.

The location worked well for restaurants, and it was about a 15-minute walk to Covent Garden. Our clean room was easy to reach, with enough storage for clothes. Breakfast and the restaurant were clean, and Gurdy was friendly and helpful. The room was too warm for me, and I could have used more tea and coffee. You can get extra at reception, but I didn't know that, so it would help if someone mentioned it. We checked out before breakfast, and the restaurant manager said reception should have offered to take our suitcases since they knew we were going to breakfast. The receptionist smelled strongly of cigarettes, though they were friendly.

Gurdy was fantastic and a real asset to the hotel. She and the rest of the staff went out of their way to make my daughter feel special on her 16th birthday. Thank you so much. We stayed one night on 29.5.26. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was great. Thanks, Premier Inn, Holborn!
