Premier Inn London Romford Town Centre

The location is amazing, about a five-minute walk from Romford station for the Elizabeth line into London. Nearby parking is available, and staff at the hotel can give you a ticket for a 50% discount. The food is very good, and the rooms are nice and clean. My main issue was that the windows can’t be opened, so the room gets stuffy, and the air conditioning doesn’t circulate the air well. There are usually only one or two staff on duty, and front of house gets very busy.

The staff were very friendly, but this visit was disappointing. The Premier Plus room was cold, and the thermostat was too complicated to use. The tray of provisions, spoons, kettle, and Nespresso were all extremely dusty. There was stale water left in both the kettle and coffee machine, and the mini-fridge had a pool of water at the bottom. The bedside tables were dusty too.

I often come here to study or get some work done, even though I don't stay at the hotel. It’s such a relaxed, comfortable place to focus, and the staff are always welcoming, friendly, and happy to help. I really enjoy spending time here. Highly recommend it!

The noise was awful. You could hear people walking in the hallway, and around 3 am a large group of drunk young people were shouting through the hotel as if it were a party. The staff told us we should go out and stop them, but I wasn't willing to approach a group of young people for my own safety. Security could have heard and seen what was going on. We complained, got no response from the manager, and had to call customer service, who did nothing. The service was horrible. They advertise a good night guarantee, but it felt like empty marketing. They may as well call it Premier Party Hostel. I won't stay at any Premier Inn again.
