For five nights in March with two adults and two kids, this was excellent value for money. The main advantage is the location, right by the Thames and next to Borough Market. It was a joy to find good restaurants for dinner each night. The City, the Tower and St. Paul's are all a pleasant walk away, and London Bridge Tube gets you to most other places in a few stops. The rooms aren't the most modern, but had everything we needed. The staff were lovely, and you can book breakfast spontaneously. Kids eat free, too.

We got an early check-in from the friendly and helpful receptionist, Ridwar(?) (sorry, my hearing is terrible). He sent us up to a beautifully cool air conditioned room on a hot London day, and we even had a view of St Paul's, which was a nice surprise. There'd been a couple of emails warning about building work next door, but it didn't disrupt us much, so it seems the worst may have passed. It's a lovely little hotel just steps from the Thames. We didn't try breakfast, but would recommend staying here and would come back.

The beds were comfortable and the room worked well for two adults and two kids, though the decor felt dated. I liked the location and felt the price we paid was good value. I’d stay again. We chose the Premier Inn chain after hearing a London local recommend it on YouTube. I liked the choice of locations and being able to reserve ahead without paying until arrival. This one is in the London Bridge area beside Borough Market and Borough Yards, close to the south bank of the River Thames and Shakespeare's Globe theater. There are loads of restaurants nearby, and it's pleasant to wander around. The area felt very safe, and there was an ice cream truck outside the hotel most nights. The room had a musty, mildew smell and no telephone, so when we needed toilet paper we had to go down to the lobby to ask. Toiletries were limited to a body wash and shampoo combo, with no lotion, conditioner or bars of soap. The noise level was good. We enjoyed breakfast, which wasn't included in our stay but could be paid for on the day. The breakfast staff were consistently polite and accommodating. The area's the big draw, with easy access to lots of attractions.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, including Nando's and Bill's right next door. Borough Market is five minutes away on foot, as is The Globe, and it's a 15-minute walk to Tate Modern with the Thames just a stone's throw away. The room was spotless, and the staff were friendly, polite and attentive. Breakfast was great too. When I asked, the staff cooked extra black pudding for my 11 yo. Nothing was too much trouble.

We stumbled on this hotel while looking for breakfast on the south bank on Saturday morning. It was 11 o'clock, when they normally stop serving, but that wasn't a problem. Reception made us feel welcome, the dining room and kitchen service was fabulous, and the food was absolutely delicious. Great value and a lovely experience that made our day.
