Meeting fellow travelers and creative people from all over the world made the stay even more special. The place was clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and always happy to offer good tips on local spots. The location was ideal for exploring London, with plenty to see and do just around the corner. I absolutely loved staying here.

The manager Khalil and director Valeria took great care of us and made sure we had what we needed throughout the stay. The hostel has a friendly feel, great service and a perfect location, with easy access to all the main spots. Highly recommended!

I was looking forward to staying here after seeing the good Google reviews, so it was disappointing that I couldn’t check in. I’d booked and intended to stay, but the late-arrival details weren’t clear and nobody answered when I called. Hostel World said reception closed at 9pm, so I figured I wouldn’t be able to get in and didn’t want to risk arriving with nowhere to sleep. They still charged the full amount, even though I didn’t stay or use anything. The follow-up communication was disappointing and seemed focused on policy. Be careful if you’ll arrive late.

The night I had a health problem, I spent the whole night at reception. I called, sent messages and went to the staff area, but the receptionist was asleep and wouldn’t wake up. I have photos of the empty reception with timestamps. A cleaner who said they were a volunteer told me not to use the emergency call button and promised to help me, then disappeared. I was left without support while paid staff slept through my calls. Later, the manager interrupted an important business meeting to complain about dishes that had only been in the kitchen for an hour. The rooms also had an unbearable, toxic smell. The place felt filthy and poorly managed, more like a neglected shelter than a hostel, and potentially dangerous. When I raised what had happened, nobody apologized. Instead, they gave me unsolicited medical advice. They aren’t doctors, and this was a major failure in running a hotel. In the final response, management tried to shame me over the price. For the record, £30 per night for a bed in a 12-person dorm is a standard market rate, and should at least mean basic safety and a professional response. Their response confirmed that guests are left without help from midnight until morning. Leaving a hospitality site without staff or emergency procedures is a serious safety breach, whatever the guest paid. They blamed me instead of apologizing for the medical emergency, and called me the problem for asking for help at 3 AM. That says a lot about their management. If you value your safety and want management that takes responsibility instead of insulting you, stay elsewhere. A £30 bed shouldn’t mean zero accountability.
