We were at the pub tonight, and it was absolutely shocking. The barmaids were yelling and abusing each other. The woman who served us barely managed a grunt, while one staff member served people and another told people they were closed. I don’t recommend it!

The room had tea, coffee and a TV, and the shared toilet and shower were all spot on. It was a clean, cheerful room at a cheap price in a nice pub, just right for what we needed and good for anyone on a budget. My brother and I stayed Saturday night while we were in town to see a band. It’s close to Euston station and not far from Camden town.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for St Pancras. The room itself was extremely hot and noisy, and the beds were hideous and really uncomfortable. I think some of the slats were broken.

The staff are lovely, but this place needs new management. After I was charged almost double what I should have paid, the staff had to apologise for the manager’s behaviour. She entered the right price for what I was buying, cancelled it, then put the card reader in front of me again with an extra £4 added. I know mistakes happen, but she knew what she was doing, and the staff seem genuinely scared of her. I tried to be kind and understanding. I said I didn’t want a refund and would be happy with a free pint, but the manager wouldn’t even let the staff member compromise. I work in a pub down the road and hadn’t seen her before, so I know she hasn’t been there long. As long as she’s there, this place will struggle.
