Even with a large group for Mother’s Day, the meal felt special and everyone at our table was happy with their food. Everything tasted delicious. The team were attentive and friendly, and took extra care to make things comfortable and accessible for the member of our group who uses a wheelchair. The roast potatoes were the one small letdown, a bit small and overdone. Otherwise, we were genuinely impressed. Thanks for making the day so memorable.

We had such a great birthday celebration with my family on Sunday, and the food was incredible. Aoife looked after our group of 20 so well and made sure we were all comfortable. The moment she played my new song over the speakers felt surreal. I’ll never forget it.

A welcoming pub with lovely decor, a warm atmosphere and good entertainment. The food was brilliant, and chef Stevie is very talented. Staff were kind, friendly and helpful, and the place is accommodating to autistic and neurodiverse patrons. I’m planning to come back soon. I didn’t stay at the hotel.

The room was nothing like the listing on booking.com. The curtains were hanging off the rail, there were stains on the bed sheets and carpet, no toilet paper, and we had to buy our own. The shower wouldn’t sit properly on its rail, and there was no TV remote. The glasses were dirty too. The menu didn’t match what was on the website. We went for breakfast at 10, but the door was still locked. It finally opened at 10:30. When I asked about coffee, I was told to go to the cafe across the road. I thought breakfast was included, but was told it wasn’t. I said I’d pay, yet half an hour later the kitchen was open and I still hadn’t got breakfast. I have pictures.

I always enjoy coming here. It’s a great local spot to meet friends, and there’s often music, games or a quiz night happening. The atmosphere is nice, the location is great, and the beer garden is lovely. I believe the manager’s name is Clyde, and he’s probably the friendliest manager too.
