Raymont Hall

I've only recently moved into Raymont Hall, and things have been great so far. Gee is amazing and friendly. She helped me carry some huge deliveries that I couldn't have managed by myself.

The fire alarm went off every Thursday morning, and sometimes on other days too. After a while, I wouldn't have known whether there was a real fire. They never treated it as a serious problem. I lived here last year, and the lift in one of the buildings was never fixed. They also ignore negative feedback about staff. The way they deal with issues is really disappointing.

I lived at Raymont Hall from 1993 to 1997, moving into the Manse for my third and fourth years. Mrs D. ran the place, if anyone remembers her, and the formal balls were fantastic. I was elected to the committee and spent a couple of years running the hall bar, which was great fun. Student life before social media had its highs and lows.

I spent a year living here last year. Like most of the other Goldsmiths halls, the staff were extremely rude and inefficient, and the rooms were small for what we paid. Check the reviews on the Student Crowd site. People post there because searching for “Raymont Hall” on Google doesn't bring that result up.
