Regal Hotel

The staff were amazing, and the bed was so comfortable. The hotel is set up as little apartments, each with its own kitchen and bathroom. Great place.

One of the worst hotel stays I’ve had. Big no no. The service was terrible, and the staff were rude and completely unhelpful. We had a 9pm flight and called earlier that day to book a late checkout, but they insisted on cash only. It felt like something dodgy was going on. Two grumpy women were condescending and hostile from the moment we arrived. We asked if there was any way to stay a bit later, and they said yes. If we’d known about the cash-only condition, we would have accepted it and booked somewhere else that allows late checkout with card payment. Even though we’d called hours before check-in to confirm everything, we were made to leave at 10am on Sunday, with nowhere to stay for 11 hours. The room was extremely dirty, there wasn’t enough cutlery and what they provided was really dirty too. They gave us paper plates to eat from. The women seemed not to care at all about the low standards and were super unprofessional. To top it off, one of them checked us out wearing a dressing gown. Disgraceful.

The apartment was spacious and clean, and Mary was a lovely, helpful host. She gave us the travel information we needed to get to Wembley and even offered to let us leave our car in the car park if we wanted to go into London the next day. We had an amazing stay and will definitely come back. I’d highly recommend this place if you’re visiting London for a concert or days out. Some reviews say the host was rude or grumpy, but we found her lovely and very helpful. I guess you get back what you give! 🤣

I’d give this place zero stars if I could. It was dirty, the service was terrible, and she was rude, talking to me like it was an interrogation. Don’t waste your time or money.
