Room Mate Lime Tree

The room at Lime Tree Hotel was charming, with lovely decor and high ceilings, and they greeted us with cookies and treats. The whole place has a warm, cosy feel, more like a beautiful home than a hotel. We had breakfast at The Buttery, the café inside the hotel, and loved everything we tried. The food, atmosphere and experience were beyond what we expected. The location was also very convenient for exploring London. We stayed for two days on our London trip, and the kind, welcoming staff made us feel at home right away. Thanks to the whole team for making it so memorable. We’d gladly stay again and recommend Lime Tree Hotel to anyone visiting London! 🤍

I work in Belgravia, but had never been inside before. We went for breakfast with my daughter and both loved it. The food and service were spot on, and the quiet garden was just perfect. It’s a gorgeous, peaceful little gem of a boutique hotel in Belgravia. The staff were incredibly polite, always smiling, and nothing seemed like too much trouble. My new quiet heaven. Selma was very quick to find us a room on a lower floor when my wife, who is sadly unwell, struggled with the stairs. We really appreciated that. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the hotel is in a very handy location. Our room was charming, comfortable, well equipped, and surprisingly quiet. The Buttery next door serves a very good breakfast. A delightful hotel, and we’ll be back.

I stayed two nights this week for business. The room had a lovely bed, was comfortable and well appointed, and stayed quiet. Breakfast at The Buttery was great too. This is a little boutique hotel in a pretty, central part of London. Expect cosy rooms with lovely decor, steep winding stairs, and a sense of the city’s history, rather than a bland corporate feel. The building is two centuries old. London does get hot in summer, but the UK still has at least 8 months a year when temperatures stay below 20C, and filling historic buildings with air conditioning units won’t solve the heat, it would make things worse. Enjoy the friendly staff, gorgeous decor and great location.
