My mother and I had five fantastic days in London, and we've just arrived in Cologne, Germany. The team at the hotal was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and much larger than many London hotel rooms, and the bathroom had been completely renovated and looked very nice. Compared with our first stay at the Royal court three years ago, though, this room felt very old-fashioned. The floor had holes and the furniture was in poor condition. Still, the price was more than fair, so I can't complain.

I've never stayed in a hotel that didn't provide a duvet.

Everything was clean and tidy in room 301. The promised triple had two twin beds, plus they added a folding bed. It was spacious, with a renovated bathroom, and there was also a small sitting room with a full kitchen and electric stove. Our room picked up the free internet signal from the ground floor.

These are typical English apartments, like the ones you see in BBC series. Some are right by Hyde Park, around the Italian Gardens. I highly recommend them!
