Rushmore Hotel

Feeling safe matters most to me, so I rated this much lower than I otherwise would have. The door was very thin, like a closet door, and only had a latch. My room was right by the stairs, so sound came straight through, and the door generally felt insecure. A security lock would give some peace of mind. I wore earplugs, but the creaky floor was still disruptive.

For the price, it was all I wanted from a budget hotel. My single room wasn’t cramped at all, and the bathroom was very nice, as if it had been refitted recently. The place may be a bit dated, but it’s good value for central London, right by Earl's Court tube. If you’re after luxury, go elsewhere and pay a lot more.

The communal areas are looking a little tired, but my room was clean and modern, with a comfy bed and fluffy towels. The welcome was warm and friendly, the location was great, and the price very reasonable. I’d definitely recommend it and stay again.

I live locally and stayed here in an emergency. The room was basic, bright and spotlessly clean, with one double and one single bed. The single was better for my back. The shower and toilet were tiny, but they worked for the evening. Most importantly, the lady at the desk was lovely and friendly.
