I didn’t even take a shower. The bathroom needs a deep clean and a complete overhaul, with mould in the corners and heavy staining. The small room was dusty, cobwebby, and had a strong musty, mouldy smell. Street noise came right through the windows, and I could hear music at night from the Turkish restaurant directly below. The bathroom also smelled noticeably of charcoal smoke.

We paid in advance, never got a room, and were left to find somewhere else to stay in London. They kept our money when we asked for a refund. Check the one-star reviews on Google, Tripadvisor, and Booking if you don’t believe me. Do yourself a favour and stay somewhere else, or you may regret it. I called to ask for help finding the place. The man on the phone was rude and unhelpful, started yelling after a few minutes, then said, “I have no time for this,” and hung up. A few minutes of help would have been enough.

The rooms are worn, and the hallway ceiling was falling down. There was no hot water in the shower. The room photos look nothing like the real place, as if they were taken with a filter. I asked for a refund because there was no hot water, but management said no. Watch out for this so-called hotel.

We got to our room at 5am, and it smelled of stale cigarettes. The electric door lock had low batteries when we arrived, so at first the door wouldn’t lock. I raised the issue, but they dismissed it and didn’t fix it. Later, the door wouldn’t open for ten minutes because of those same low batteries. The customer service was poor.
