Sanctum Apartments

The apartments at Sanctum Apartments on Greville Road are spacious, clean, and well equipped, so they feel more like home than a hotel. Staff were friendly and professional, and the location is convenient for transport and shops. It’s a bit pricey, but the comfort and service make it worthwhile. The building doesn’t have a gym, pool, or sauna.

The location is still the one good thing about this place, but it can’t make up for how uncomfortable and poorly maintained things have become. I’ve stayed here at least three or four times over the years, but after my December visit, I probably won’t return. My room smelled stale, like it hadn’t been aired out, and wasn’t properly cleaned. The furniture looked worn and dated, and the sofa bed was awful, with its metal frame easy to feel through the thin mattress. The heating broke down several times during my winter stay, which made things even more frustrating. Our group was well looked after by the team at Sanctum. They stored our bags before check-in and made sure we had our keys as soon as the rooms were ready. Everyone was friendly and accommodating. The room was spotless, the bed incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom huge. I’d recommend the hotel for its comfortable rooms, good service, and location for exploring the city. I’d definitely stay again.

We stayed at Sanctum while relocating to London and looking for a permanent home, and it was just right for that stretch. The apartment was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with everything we needed, and it was clean too. The staff were every bit as impressive, always helpful and pleasant. Thanks for a great stay!
