Seymour Hotel

I've never had a stay at a hotel this bad. We were there from the 15th to the 18th of this month, with the booking under Luís Branco. Our room was on the fifth floor and there was no lift. The stairs were dangerous, the carpets slippery, the corridors cramped, and ventilation poor. Breakfast was awful too. The coffee and juice were watery, the toast had no taste, and we had to eat standing up. An absolute disgrace.

The staff were polite and helpful, and the location works well for a short stay near the city. You can get there by bus, Underground, bike, or on foot, though parking outside is very limited. The rooms are basic, with dated decor and no frills. Breakfast was included but dismal. There's a brilliant cafe around the corner.

The location was good, but it wasn't worth it. A terrible-smelling pillow kept me from sleeping, and then I found bed bugs. There were rubbish bags outside the hotel and dirt inside.

The room was tiny, with just one towel per person and no blanket. They offered a dirty bed cover as a substitute. The windows weren't insulated, so it felt like sleeping out on the street. This place doesn't meet even the minimum requirements.
