I often come to London for work and have tried different apartments around the city. This was easily one of the best. It was spacious and super clean, with a well-equipped kitchenette that made fixing my own breakfast easy. The location was great for public transport, and Westfields was close by for dinner options. My room faced Shepherds Green but wasn't noisy. The correspondence and check-in were simple too.
The location was good, and the room was clean. The beds were very small, though, and another pillow would have helped. The air freshener was so strong we had to air the room out, which was a problem because my partner is allergic. If you're staying more than a day, you may want to bring your own shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, since the bottles provided are tiny.
My parents found the apartment itself great: the kitchen had plenty of appliances, coffee pods and a machine, a kettle and tea, and the Wi-Fi was easy to get onto. They did find the underfloor heating made it very warm, and thought it could perhaps have been turned down sometimes. The access instructions were clear for me, and I received several messages before their stay, but older guests may find the process fiddly: there's a door code, then a key-box code, and the door needs unlocking twice. The transport links are excellent. Several Tube lines, the Overground and lots of buses are nearby, with Oxford Circus about 15 minutes away and Victoria around 20. Westfield is a five-minute walk, and there are plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars, shops and charity shops close by, plus another shopping centre across the road with a Wetherspoons. One note for people unfamiliar with London: Shepherd's Bush can sometimes be dangerous, as many parts of the city can be. Keep your belongings close and avoid waving your phone around when returning late. In the daytime the area is very busy, so there's less to worry about.
The room was spotless and finished to a high standard. I'd just ask for one away from the street.
