Sheraton Heathrow Hotel

The breakfast was very good, and the staff were attentive. The hotel was clean and we had a lovely stay while working nearby for a day. Food was served from a set menu made for more than 2,000 people, and it was nice enough. I imagine the meals are great when it's less busy. The location itself wasn't relevant for us.

We really appreciated having a quiet bar to unwind in after travelling all day. The Sheraton also has its own restaurant, and breakfast the next morning was self-service, with more food than you could hope to eat. The maitre d' asked if it was our first stay and, when we said yes, showed us the full selection. You can take as much or as little as you like, and breakfast is well worth recommending. I didn't get to see the gym. Our room had the usual things like a TV and tea and coffee, plus shampoo and conditioner. The modern bathroom looked good, and a small wall dial let us adjust the room temperature. The large double bed was very comfortable. Soundproof windows meant we heard nothing from the airport, despite being only a mile away. The three receptionists on duty were efficient, and it was nice to have a proper conversation with one of them. For Heathrow Terminal 5, this is a good place to sleep before a flight. You'll need a shuttle bus or taxi from the end of the bus terminal. The shuttle costs £6.80 per person each way and takes you straight to the Sheraton. It's described as a four-star hotel. Anyone travelling, I'd recommend it. It feels like a little holiday on its own.

For a late night or early flight out of Heathrow, I'd happily come back. We only stayed a night before an early flight and loved it, though on our return we wanted somewhere closer to the city. The staff were so kind and helpful. They let us into our room early so we could drop our things and get some much-needed sleep after a long international flight with our family of five. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious. Mansi and her team were especially helpful and lovely. Mansi showed us where everything was and even brought juice to the table when our hands were full. We really appreciated how kind everyone was. The Hoppa shuttle was easy to book on my phone, and our driver was very helpful getting us where we needed to go.

The bar and food were excellent, and the concierge were outstanding. It's easy to book, park and relax here before an early flight from Heathrow. They gave us the shuttle timings and advice on the best option for our flight. It takes six minutes to Terminal 5. We'll definitely stay again.
