Smart Stay Swiss Cottage

The separate bathrooms are for one person at a time, and in five days I never came across anyone else using them. They were immaculate and modern, just like the rooms. I especially liked having a washing machine in the room. If the bathrooms were attached, this place could easily charge twice as much. It's a nice place. I had read reviews mentioning noise from the tube station, but with the window wide open it was barely audible. I didn't hear other guests either. The location is pretty decent, above a nice coffee shop, a 20 second walk to the metropolitan / jubilee lines, and one minute from Waitrose. It's a great, cheap place to stay.

The rooms were extremely nice and had every appliance I could need. Staff were wonderful and went out of their way to help with my travels and keep me comfortable. I stayed three nights and didn't run into a single problem. It's close to the underground, with plenty of fun places to eat just a few minutes' walk away. I'd absolutely recommend it and will stay here next time I visit London.

The location was perfect, and the room was very nice and spacious. It was cleaned every day, the kitchen was well equipped, and the large bathroom stayed clean. During the whole week, I never found our bathroom busy. A king size bed would be better for taller people, and the electric kettle didn't work. Even so, I'd come back.

I’d ask for a room at the back if you’re a light sleeper, though I don’t think there are many of those. The road-facing rooms do get some noise, but earplugs were enough for me. The shared bathrooms never caused an issue either, with roughly two for five rooms. The place was great overall and looked just like the photos.
