The accessible room was outstanding compared with nearby zedwell, which charges the same for an empty room with no lighting, furniture other than a bed, or anything. Premier Inn gave us a spacious room, a comfy bed, good facilities and nice extras like a TV and unlimited coffee and tea. The rooms were clean, the facilities and furnishings very good, and the staff helpful. For the price, you couldn't ask for more. The hotel is in an amazing spot. The only note is the high kerb outside with no dropped kerb, which is a hassle in a wheelchair. The hotel has requested that the council put one in.

The mildew smell hit as soon as I entered the hotel, and I immediately felt I'd made a mistake booking here based on the location and good recent reviews. We only planned to use the room to sleep, since our days were packed with sightseeing from dawn to dusk, but it was truly gross: black mold in the shower, a sink that wouldn't drain, stained bedsheets and blinds that wouldn't open. I wanted some airflow, but the window wouldn't open either. The room smelled moldy. We put up with it because it was only two nights. Never again. We've happily switched to another hotel in the area.

One staff member was repeatedly rude to us. She wore glasses, and I think she was British Indian based on her looks. While we were queuing to check in, there were white people ahead of us; she spent 10 minutes explaining various things about the hotel to them. When it was our turn, she had a bitter expression, just handed us the keys and pointed out the elevator with signs. The next day, when we asked about room service, she didn't explain how to get it and just said there were boards in the elevator we could read. There were various instances of her being rude and not speaking properly. This should be taken seriously, and everyone should be treated fairly.

The location is amazing, right in the heart of everything, though the party crowds around Soho can feel a little daunting late at night. That didn't take away from our excellent stay at Hub London Soho. The hotel was spotless and really well kept, and the team were incredibly friendly and welcoming. My husband and I had a lovely stay and a great time. We usually stay at CitizenM when we're in the UK, but Hub London Soho might become our new go-to. Highly recommend!
