Sophisticated Shine by Newington Green

A lovely little green spot, with plenty of clean benches and even a nice cafe. It’s a great place to sit and relax, especially surprising to find it tucked amid all the traffic in such a busy area.

We picked up some tasty snacks and drinks from the friendly staff at Lizzy's on the Green when we went to the latest Jazz on the Green. The crowd made it clear how popular the event and venue are. Definitely recommend coming here for an outing.

I live here, and it’s a lovely, lively place for a sunny afternoon. There’s a good range of bars, restaurants and shops, plus an organic cafe on the green with fresh pastries each day. The children’s play area has recently been expanded, too.

I’ve come many times to Newington Green event to do face painting. It’s a lovely park, with a coffee shop, a kids’ play area and easy parking nearby. Highly recommend it for a family day out!
