The staff were lovely, and the lobby is spacious. The rooms are nice and roomy too. Breakfast was fine but nothing special, so I’d suggest trying one of the amazing nearby cafés. There aren’t fans in the bathrooms, but that wasn’t a major problem because the room’s system was great and you could study to dry things after a shower.

I’ve stayed here many times and the rooms and housekeeping have always been pleasant. This latest visit has made me unsure about coming back, which is really disappointing after never having issues before. My partner and I booked for our anniversary and put a note about the celebration because we were excited. Nobody mentioned it when we arrived, during the stay or when we left. At other hotels, staff have helped make an occasion feel special with a simple “happy anniversary,” a card, balloon or other small gesture. We got nothing, and opening the room to find no acknowledgement after the reception experience was disappointing. At reception, one colleague gave me a straight face when I said hello instead of a friendly welcome, then walked off. Another colleague came over. Both were Asian ladies. The whole interaction felt cold and not heartfelt, as if we were a burden. Guests shouldn’t be made to feel that way. I’d suggest having reception staff who actually want to engage with guests and show some warmth.

Princy deserves a special thank you for her kindness, professionalism and excellent service. She made our experience even more enjoyable. All the staff were welcoming and friendly, and ready to help with anything we needed. Our room was clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the location was perfect for exploring the area. We had a wonderful, relaxing stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.

The location was very convenient for visiting family, and the staff were helpful throughout. The first room we were given was damaged and dirty, a poor start, especially since a £50 damage deposit had already been taken from my card. Staff were friendly and moved us to another room promptly, but that one needed more cleaning before we felt comfortable too. For the price, I expected the rooms to be cleaner and better prepared. The hotel was nice overall, and I might stay again, though I hope housekeeping standards improve.
