Student Only Vita Lewisham

What upset me most was seeing how casually the desk staff seemed to accept the way the security man spoke to people. I left my daughter at VITA believing she would be safe and treated with respect, and this experience has left me deeply disturbed. I hope management takes it seriously and trains staff to treat residents with basic kindness. These are people’s homes, not just student accommodation. My daughter told me two staff members had been attacked by a delivery driver. Yet, as far as I could see, management, especially Toni and Joy, hadn’t put proper security in place for students, staff, or the building. Instead there’s a large bald man acting like an aggressive bouncer, repeatedly shouting at students to prove they live there, even though the door hasn’t been fixed. I had to deal with him myself: while we were walking toward what I think was the sign-in sheet, he yelled at my daughter to sign me in, then demanded proof she lived there despite her key hanging clearly around her neck. As a mother, I’d give this place zero stars if it would let me.

The rooms and shared spaces are really good. Shyan was lovely, so sweet and upbeat, and very patient.

I’m so glad I picked Vita for my student experience. The staff join in with the events, which makes the place feel like a community, and Tony and her team clearly care about residents and their living environment. Whenever I’ve had a question or concern, Tony has been quick to respond and kind and professional about it. She’s a wonderful manager who goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome and supported. I loved my time at Vita.

Toni and her team at Vita & Student Accommodation in Lewisham, SE13, made our painting job a smooth, well-organised project. Toni showed us around the site, explained the health and safety procedures, communicated clearly, and did everything she had promised. We finished the work to a high standard. She is professional, dedicated, and extremely organised, including with the administration. The workplace she runs is welcoming and efficient, and her staff speak very highly of her. It’s clear that her leadership brings out the best in people. It was a pleasure working with her, and we appreciate the trust she showed our company.
