Studio Near Kings Cross

The location is the one good thing, honestly. My room was small and unclean, and there’s no lift. You can’t carry luggage upstairs because it won’t fit through the stairways or into the room. Breakfast looked as if it came from the nearest Lidl and had just been thrown onto plates. When I arrived, my window was wide open behind the curtains. I only noticed because the outside noise was so loud that I went to check. Not worth it. I won’t be back.

At midnight, water started coming through the bathroom ceiling. There were no rooms available at that hour, so we had to wait until the next day to be moved. The hotel was under renovation and terribly dusty, and we hadn’t been told when we booked. Our room was tiny, despite already having been renovated. They moved us to a different room, but offered no compensation, and the manager seemed to find the situation funny. Total failure. Don’t go to this hotel.

The front desk security staff were very friendly and helpful, and housekeeping kept the room in good shape. Breakfast was okay. The room felt a little small for two, and we could barely open our suitcase. The location is handy, opposite the British Library, with a bus stop right outside that makes it easy to reach all the attractions.

The staff were polite and friendly, and it was handy to have breakfast included and luggage storage after checkout. The location was good, near buses and the underground, and not too far from the city centre. The room was small but cute and looked nice, but the hotel was messy and unclean, including our room. It was really hot even in November with the heating off and the window open constantly. There wasn’t enough room to put our things away, the water pressure and WiFi were both very poor, and street noise carried on all night. The elevator wasn’t working.
