The ticket hall is wide, and the station was clean and tidy when I visited. It can get very busy, and there’s a sweet shop on platform 1. Sloane Square Station is served by the Circle and District lines, but there’s no disabled access, only stairs and escalators.
The square is beautiful and charming, especially at Christmas, when the station gets busier. There’s good service, plenty of places to eat and drink, and some of the best shopping spots around.
There are amazing shops around Sloane Square, and the Underground is really convenient. It feels like a safe area, with a fun atmosphere and great places to eat at any time of day. We can’t wait to come back next time we’re in London.
I used to get off at this station for school for five years. There’s a great coffee shop as you come out, and the staff are friendly.
That structure people sometimes mistake for a bridge over the tracks is actually a man-made river. It carries the Tyburn, which had to be redirected above the station when construction began. The station itself is comfortable, with a big exit and a small shop.
